Thats what happens when you have enough money to pursue daydreams through to completion, fantastic but foe me a bit clinical, needs some other items to make me feel at home

dirty rags
an overflowing bin
an un pc calendar
Some random bits of trim 'saved' from the last project
Blood spattering on the walls
Chip Wrappers/Coke Cans
Multicolour walls due to testing aerosols
Layer of grime
Cobwebs
Filthy Telephone
Most of a MK2 Escort in the corner
Next to a toilet, the likes of which were last seen in the Dark Ages.

Then it will be complete and not look like a bathroom catalogue.

GaryK 07 May 2004 11:51 AM

safe to say the guy is fairly minted! o and obsessively tidy, what a novelty every single spanner in its rightful place!

stevem2k 07 May 2004 12:05 PM

what a novelty every single spanner in its rightful place!
That can't be right. Surely there should be a space where the one you absolutely need used to be .........

suprabeast 07 May 2004 12:14 PM

the tools are too clean for my liking!!

Ringpeas 07 May 2004 12:42 PM

Nothing wrong with a clean tool ;)

I bet most of those tools have never been used. Looks like a posing shop to me.

speedking 07 May 2004 12:59 PM

I often thought that if I had enough money then it would be great to have a hydraulic lift for the car in my garage and do away with the jacks and axle stands, lying on your back on a cold floor, etc.

Then I thought if I had that much money I would have someone else doing all the work and I wouldn't need a lift :o

Surely this is just a showcase for use in sales pitches? Lucky tiler.

SiPie 07 May 2004 01:02 PM

SirFozzalot 07 May 2004 02:14 PM

  What a lucky g!t !

I was impressed with the old one before the makeover :D

and he has his own 4wd rollers!!!!

BeverleyJM 07 May 2004 06:05 PM

I bet he's the kind who turns all the tins round the same way in his kitchen cupboards too ..... scarey

Gidney&Knowlesy 07 May 2004 06:45 PM

Wow, I use most of my tools such as screw drivers to dig weeds out the patio. The wood saw makes an ideal tool to cut back unwanted grass on flag stones, & spanners are easily lobbed from bedroom windows to scare of mauraudering cats......

workshy_fopp 07 May 2004 09:46 PM

Did you click on the link at the end? http://www.ultimategarage.com/UltGar2x.htm .
I had assumed it was attached to a house, but it's totally free standing and has a Japanese garden with waterfall so you can quietly contemplate whether you want to drive the F40, Cooper S, Corvette, 911, 355 Cab, E-Class or indeed 3.0CSL

AndyC_772 07 May 2004 11:02 PM

Who the heck owns a Ferrari and maintains it himself anyway?

ajm 07 May 2004 11:02 PM

I had big plans for my new double garage... then I plonked a car in it, and a mower, and tools, some junk.... more junk etc etc. Now it would be a major exercise just to paint the floor!!!

 Careful! You'll have the scoobynet drama queens getting hysterical about their "pets"! :D

Ted Maul 07 May 2004 11:15 PM

it's the kind of thing eddie jordan would have.

gareth123 07 May 2004 11:23 PM

I didn't see a wig rack so I doubt it's his :) And he wouldn't have had a fan installed in the ceiling either.

StickyMicky 08 May 2004 12:45 AM

andypugh2000 08 May 2004 09:08 AM

Its impressive but seems a bit like "sleeping with the enemy" tidyness :D

Scoob99 08 May 2004 09:18 AM

Talk about the dogs bollox:D.......beautiful

CrisPDuk 08 May 2004 09:37 AM

:eek:There's more floor area there than there was in my first house:)

Talk about envy, are all you lot saying you wouldn't have something similar if you were minted then? I think not;) I know I would:)

CrisPDuk 08 May 2004 09:39 AM

PS in the second shot, doesn't that E Class look like a bugugly scoob at first glance;)

M444GY 08 May 2004 11:00 AM
