whats the most I could get charged?

Thinking of buying from partsjapan.com, front skirt for £138.

Even on worst case scenarios, including shipping, VAT, duty, random acts of HM customs and excise, how much is it likely to cost me?

I'd have thought it'd still come in under £200?

Just a note, when you are working out what VAT to expect to pay you have to calculate it on the goods AND the delivery charge. So, if your skirt was £138 and another £40 say for delivery then the VAT would be £31 approx. That's already over £200.

You will also need to be clear whether the delivery is to the airport only or to your door. What seems like a bargain could turn into an expensive nightmare.

If you have to pay for the item to be delivered to you from the airport then there is often a COD fee to pay on top of the delivery charge though you may be able to get round this if you pay up front by card.
