W2k domain authentication & XP Home
Quick technical one to ponder here. We have a Windows 2000 AD set up here with an ISA server for internet access.
Now for the problem....An american member of staff has just turned up with a laptop running XP home which I realise cant log on to our domain as XP home has no domain support. The problem I have is I cant get an RDP connection to our US server to work on it either and I guess that'll be the ISA server not recognising the request from his PC even though I can ping the IP address of the remote server from the laptop. Any clues how to get around this... (not including reinstalling the laptop) :D |
Is ISA set-up to allow the outbound RDP traffic?

Just had a thought, not tried the ISA client yet... I'll give that a go.
Arrgggghh, that doesn't work, even manually mapping a drive on the ISA server (and hence authenticating with it) doesn't work either. |
