IE crashing on ScoobyNet threads?

Does anyone know why my Internet Explorer (6.0) repeatedly crashes when i attempt to read this thread.

It bombs out with the error...

...but i can read the thread perfectly via Mozilla Firebird????

I can also read most other ScoobyNet threads OK as well.

Some other threads have also repeatedly caused IE to crash, but i can't work out what is causing it in the first place.

Thanks in advance,

mb

IE is buggy, and will tend to splurt like this now n again. Just reboot n it sbe fine. If it isn't then delete all your history n temp internet files, close n reopen IE.

bioforger,

"IE is buggy"

Tell me about it ;)

No need to re-boot, because it is just that particular IE-thread that blows up (all windows opened via "right-click, open in another window"). Other IEs started from the menu/icon continue as normal (don't crash).

It has only started happening recently though, and regularly when browsing ScoobyNet - which has also changed recently?

Norton, Spybot and AdAware don't detect any mal-ware.

I'll try clearing temp and history etc and see if that helps.

Cheers,

mb
