speaking to a dealer today while my brake pads were being changed he told me that a limited edition sport is on the way at the end of July.

Based on a first come first served basis, 400 units, 200 in black mica & 200 in 'custard' yellow are available with turbo interior, white dials & my99/00 rear wing, all running on the sandard sport under pinings. Best bit, air as standard and price is £500 more than current sport list at
£late 16k. (with air at 1k on its own, not a bad deal)

one way of using up my00 bodies I suppose. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Sounds to me like Subaru's marketing department has had a good idea of how to get rid of all those horrid, bulging old fashioned bodies and panels that no-one will want once the new shape, slick, millineum compliant eurolook Impreza is released. Well done marketing!

P.S. beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the original shape is best - i know 'cause i am always right!

My girlfriends dad had a '96 P Reg Sport that was also limited edition. It had the turbo seats and colour co-ordinated door handles and mirrors; model just before they changed the interior. When he tried to trade in last year for a new one, he got 'royally dicked' for the trade in value and ended up buying a Golf TDI and got £1500 more trade in. Go figure.
