OK,

I've decided to go for a set of 7x17" TSW Evo R's with 205/45 ZR 17 rubber for my Green Mica MY98

I want to fit AP 4 pots aswell at some point. Can anyone tell me if these wheels will clear AP 4 pot calipers OK?

Stef, have you got 4-pots on CK1?

Thanks,

Karlos

Karlos, if you want to be certain about the brakes fitting, contact sales@apracing.co.uk and ask for a template for the brakes you want. It's free.

Just cut around the dotted line and offer it up to the wheel. If the paper doesn't touch, the calipers won't, either.

Richard.

Guys,

I've phoned a few people and I've been told that you can only get the EVO R in a 45mm offset, and that body mods maybe required on a Scooby!!! Does anyone else have these wheels? HELP ME!?!?

Karlos

Stef 16 June 2001 01:45 PM

Karlos.
I have the EVO-R's on CK1 and they fit fine. The offset is on the border of Impreza fitment but they fit. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
I also have AP 4-pots and they fit fine too, although I have the smaller discs. There is so much room though that I'm sure the large kit would also fit.

Stef.

Don't know if it's too late - I've just bought some evo r's 2nd hand, there's massive clearance for brakes but they do catch at the back 4 up & pushing it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif I don't think Stef has the black arch trims at the back whilst I do so it looks like that's the problem.

Good looking wheel tho - looks f'in massive http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

rjh,

Did you see my reply to your thread on the chaffing. I think your running the wrong size tyre. Check it out.

Cheers Karlos; didn't see your reply to my post.

I'm going to take the rubber trims off the back arches + put some slimmer trim on (going to look in Halfords for something suitable).

Let me know how you get on - it will help when when I replace my tyres.

Stef,

What tyre size do you run on your Evo R's?

Mojo.
Just the normal ones. I'm currently running Pirelli's in 205/45 17. Have also used 215/40 17 and 205/40 17.

Stef.
