Had the car in there on Friday, and was impressed with the chaps knowledge in there. Quite often you go to some places and find you can tell them what they should be doing ;) but I could tell the guys really knew what they were on about.

Well priced too. :)

Mark, had my car serviced there a few months ago. a full service was about a 100 bucks. I thought it was pretty good considering 2 years ago had a full service on a civic and that was 150 bucks at a different place!!!! Car going in this week for mot and a blitz induction kit then two weeks driving fun before its in again to have a few dents taken out and a bit of a paint job! they gave a good price on that too. only 600 bucks! i highly recommend them and no, i ain't getting paid to advertise them.........now theres an idea!!!

Just got back from there today,doing a running in map on a 2.5 litre early car, short block was a 2.5 Matt Clark special (Omegas and Arrow rods etc) BUT ... the impressive thing was they had installed it with Phase 2 heads and inlet manifold AND pin to pin rewired the whole thing, I duly arrived, plugged in and cranked over, it was a no go, flooded due to the owner be "enthusiastic" with the throttle pedal the day b4 after starting. Pete quickly changed plugs and sorted it and we pressed on. Everything was "on the money" all the sensors etc were functioning and we completed the running in mapping during the next 2 hours.

I mapped it to 0.5 bar and 4500 rpm only ... boy is this thing going to be quick when its completed !!!

So funny to see this thread, right on the edge of the airfield is where they are at.

Just thought I'd throw in my two penneth, good outfit.

Kicked, just to add, id be very careful about putting a blitz on there. A good panel filter is a much better option, unless you've removed the MAF, have a good cold air feed, and a remap. And even then the fitration is quite poor. Do a search on them. Im sure Bob will agree too - and take his word over mine ;)

One of the guy's in the 'Dorset crew' went in there the other day and said about that car Bob, reckoned it was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think!!

Where have you guys been? Andy and the crew know their business, been using them for over 2 years. Bob remember your BPM down pipe' they are the guys who fitted it plus all the rest.

I needed new front discs and pads for the track but didn't want to go down the AP route, they advised Mintex 8 grove discs and 1166 pads, fitted in Dec 03, two trackdays so far and work very well. Cost £280 ex vat and labour. Service cost for 22b about £200 inclusive.

Good guys as far as I'm concerned. I wholly support a small local company that can provide good service at good prices.

Mark, thats what i thought after reading about some of the views on here about induction kits, but was told that as i haven't decatted and only have a stainless back box, my car shouldn't have any problems! Now ya got me worried....!

Induction kits are known to cause the MAF to run lean, and on a UK you can get away with it, probably. On a WRX designed to run on high grade fuel, running it even leaner is not good. Furthermore, the vibration from the filter can damage the maf, causing leaner running = big bang.

The induction kit will not give you any more power, and will quite possibly sap the torque. They sound awful too. I tried a before and after with a K&N cone, and it looked tile the 2 bhp gain, way just from it being slightly leaner. Torque dropped a fair bit too.

IMHO, they are a complete waste of money, unless you are running big BHP, and have a cold air feed and remap to compliment it.

Guess you have to question why you want one?
