MY00 UK - Will I need an uprated Fuel pump if I fit a VF24

Thinking of fitting a VF24 (as don't want the lag of anything bigger) in place of the TD04.

As the MY00 already has 440cc injectors will I need to uprate the fuel pump when the VF24 goes on.

I want to push it to the right side of 300BHP.

ECU is already TEK'd, so will just need a fiddle (maybe) to get working with the VF24.

VF24 flows less air that a TD05 I believe but might be more efficent so if you assume it will require the same amount of fuel.
You could bolt a TD05 straight on and have no problems imho therefore cannot see the VF24 causing a problem. The standard pump should be upto the job. I believe the standard fuel pump is the same flow rate on the TD05 equiped cars and the TD04, only you have 440s rather than the old 380s which is therefore better.

You might get better throttle response and slightly more power if you fitted an uprate pump and fpr and had it all mapped for the new pump, fpr, and turbo mind you.

Also remember that when you surpass the 325-330 hp mark, the stock fuel system becomes inadequate.
