London Marathon - Charities people running for??
 

London Marathon today, my sister is running for Mencap, Ive personally raised over 300 quid for her and in total shes got over 2 grand :)

However, everyone is running for various charities, though I was slightly perplexed by one person on the TV this AM. She was raising money to ship dogs from Russia to the UK, these were dogs that had been abandoned by owners in Russia. She needed 1200 quid per dog and was looking to ship 5 or more over???

Now, everyone to there own, but my thoughts were is this really such a good use of 1200 quid ?????
