Last week fitted a set of 16" S02 PP's to the Scooby, subsequently found it "floaty" at speed, wandering about a bit. Checked the pressures which were at 25psi all round, so I whacked them up to 34psi all round, seems to have cured the problem.

My question is what is the recommended level? I seem to remember 34psi all round being on the SIDC site as optimum, even though Subaru say 32/29psi and 34/32psi or thereabouts for half/full load front and rear. 90% of the time I'm alone in the car with no extra weight.

Cheers for any suggestions,
David.

25 seems way low--
i've found 32/30 to be right most of the time
i do a lot of miles on my ownand it seems a good compromise

I run 18" S02's and use a lot more pressure than that sometimes. But for 16" wheels I think 34 would be ok. I wouldn't use any less though. IMO.

Cheers guys,

34psi seems to be working ok, so I'll leave them there for just now.

David.
