What is it about Imprezas
 

...and why is it costing me a fortune?

Had a TT some time ago - lasted one month - hated it.

So got rid and bought STi7 - loved it - girlfriend hated it - too harsh ride - this was before Prodrive springs were available.

So got rid and and got a Volve S60 T5 - very comfy but all the handling of a barge

So got rid and got a MY03 WRX with PPP and I really enjoyed it - much more "complete" than the un-PPP'ed STi. But then I saw the Mazda RX8 and heart ruled head....

So got rid and bought a Mazda RX8 which is a really nice car but it's just lacking "something"...

..so now I'm just about to order a WR1 - maybe at long last this will be all I need in a car.

I am really curious as to why girlfriends seem to hate the STis and Evos of this world. You guys just ain't doing the PR it warrants. I only needed the Evos for loan for one week (alone) and I was absolutely sold. Both STis and Evos are utterly sexy cars, especially the large spoiler. I love that part.

they hate the scoobys because they wish it was them driving them! most girls i know don't even know what an impreza is :D

I'm no expert on Impreza's (in fact, I know nothing about cars at all :o ) but I have a real soft spot for them and of course I know what one is :D

My wife hated the scooby until she drove it. Now she always comes home with a grin.

hello kellicious and welcome :D at least there's a few girls/lady's out there who know what they are :D:D:D theres nothing worse than when you pay the stupid insurance,fuel costs and serviceing and someone says to you "you've got a what?" :p

Most women dont give a monkeys what you drive so long as it gets them to where they want without getting their hair wet,ohh and the cigarette lighter works.

Yes they love the attention when you get somewhere and bouncers let you in without having to wait in line all because they think you are some big time powder salesman.LOL

Scooby_si - don't be jealous - cost an absolute fortune!!!! In hindsight should probably have stuck with WRX/PPP - but never mind.

Dunno what it is about the RX - looks brill - interior is stunning (let's be honest most other car interiors are better than an Impreza's) - but there's just summit I miss about the Scoob!

yeah i've seen many up close & a few with very fruity kits on & is a great car but as a RX7 owner i'm still waiting to see what it's like with a few bolt on blowers ;)

I had a MY00 scoob then changed it for a TT which i always wanted ever since seeing the concept car. They are nice but so very common now and do have a bit of a girlie thing going on. Have now gone back to scoobs with a WRX PPP. Love it big time, gives you that grin factor that the TT never could.
