...kit for about 650: Wilwood billet 4 pots (with seals), 310*32 disks, pads.....
any comments? |
James, wait a couple of weeks. They've got their own calipers coming out soon....

Dan,
What do you mean? I seen an Imprezza `Kit` at the Wilwood UK suppliers(Rally Design), as above... |
James, I don't know of anyone else buying kits from them. The first initial kit I received, they supplied the wrong calipers and wouldn't change them. In the end I went to Geoff at Hi-Spec in Dartford. He does wilwood stuff.

Dan,
Does this mean you have some Wilwood kit fitted? If so, what do you think? Done any track days? Do they take OE shape pads or do they need their own pad design? Cheers! |
James, I did have a Wilwood kit to start off with, but changed to AP 4 then 6 pots!
I swapped due to the supply of the WRONG kit! I have seen the new Wilwood calipers and think they are quite strong! Speak to Geoff at Hi-Spec. He can supply Wilwood if you are interested or he can AP. Dan |
Got Wilwoods with 335x32mm disks . From Hi Spec. Had them a while. No probs - the bees knees. No seals I don't think on mine but when I took them off to check recently there was no problem at all. Wilwood do pads, as do EBC. Running EBC Greens at the moment. Work better from cold than the Wilwood pads AND, for all those like me who hate cleaning wheels (!!), they give off bog all brake dust!! Go for it. Dave |
i had a pair of Dynalite billet Willwoods on my Impreza last year and DAAAAMN !
these things are hard-core, but had to replace the discs every 2-3 months http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif O/... |
....So I tke it the Wilwoods have their own pad design ie no Mintex / DS2000 / Pagid pads wil go in??
