Black-out "made of measure blinds", recommendations
I know its a bit 'ghey' but any recommendations - nothing fancy, more functional really but nothing thats going to involve cutting off an arm or a leg to pay for them! ???
|
Or 'made to measure'
|
I got some, bit of advice when they tell you, you can't use the existing rails you can. So don't take no crap from any salesman.
|
These are roller blinds replacing curtain poles - not compatible me thinks?!
|
I've not bought made to measure ones, but I have bought some that you cut to size. the first was from Agros (sic) and was ok. The next was from John Lewis, cost twice as much but is of much better quality. BTW cutting to size is a bit fiddly but not too bad.
I've bought blinds (not blackout) from hilarys in the past and they've been fine |
Really dont want the hassle of cutting them, I want a nice tight fit :D
|
We put rubberbacked roller blinds behind our curtains in the bedroom.
I like total blackness when sleeping. The blinds were listed as 'blackout blinds', and we got them from Ikea. They do the job really well. Easy to fit aswel, you cut the roll to the size of your window apperture, then plug two ends into the roll. Then simply screw two brackets, and attach the roll, even I can do it. Later Yoza |
Just got a quote of £85 for 2 blinds - doesnt seem to bad bearing in mind it will cost me £20 to get to Ikea and back + the blinds there, then the cutting, time travelling etc
BTW Yoza, any home game tickets going spare? |
so are you planning on making your own "feature films", S96? If so - please add me to your mailing list! :D
