Guys and Gals,

After 23,000 on the original Potenzas my MY00 is in need of some new rubber. I've got my eye on some SO2s but don't fancy paying the £600 Kwik Fit want for them. Does anyone have the phone number and price for some cheaper suppliers in the north Birmingham/ Staffordshire area??

Cheers

Why not take a drive to northampton and visit those nice guys at tyres northampton?

16" SO2's £117.50 all in.
17" SO2's £127 ish from memory.

I have no connection with them just another satisfied customer.

By shopping around you should be able to get 16" from 100ukp each, and 17" from 125 ukp each - fully inclusive of VAT, fitting, balancing etc. Maybe even cheaper with new SO3 on their way? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Would suggest going to a local performance tyre dealer and haggling. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

FWIW Tyres Northampton may get great press on here, but personally I wouldn't give them a second shot if they were 100ukp per set cheaper than anywhere else http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif No connection - just a DIS-satisfied customer http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

Thanks for the response. I have managed to haggle and get 4 for £460 inclusive from Mr Tyre.
