Travellers / Gypo's etc.
 

Over the weekend over 100 Travellers vehicles and vans took over one of Mansfields Town Centre car parks.
Some of the paying law abiding people who parked there cannot get their cars out. It's been on the local radio this moning that many of the cars blocked in have been broken into overnight. :mad:
Yesterday a large group of travellers fom the site including over 60 kids took over the local Cinema, locals who had already paid were intimidated into leaving.
The last time they came the local council where left with a £30k clean up bill.
Police have advised locals to steer clear of the area and not to go into town today for the traditional bank holiday drink.

When are we going to stop these trash walking all over us? :mad:

If I had my way I shoot the feckin lot of them. They steal, leave rubbish everywhere, dont pay taxes, dont pay council tax, kids dont go to school etc.
They are just scum. Weve got a gyppo camp here in Cardiff that was specially built for them. Its like a ****hole there. These people have no respect for anything or anyone.

Just read in another thread that Scoobynet member DEEDEE was parked in the carpark but managed to get out.
Could you imagine what state a Scooby would be in this moning after a night in a Gypo camp.

"Static site" travellers are a different kettle of fish, (the type that have motorway maintenance vehicles) we have a site near us and they are as a good as gold.
The type that break into fields and pitch up for a few weeks before being evicted are the type you are referring to and are a drain.
I spent 2 months working on a fairground and once again they were decent folk, not law abiding but decent ;)

yes saw then last night in mansfield left my car in the swan car park and went bar 53 for a qwick drink went back 2 my car and there was 4 pickeys looking around it. I think i got back 2 my car just in time.

Oh my word! Outrageous language.

These are basically good law abiding citizens - it's just that 99% of them give the rest a bad name :D :D

It's part of their culture to go around trespassing and f*cking up other people's communities. To prevent them doing so would be an infringment of their 'human' rights. Ask any 'human rights' lawyer.

just a still annoyed as when they moved on from near a mates house the other nite, they smashed his gates down and removed his 30ft caravan..

Well just drove by on my way home from work, looks like they have managed to get all the private cars off.

The place already looks like a rubbish tip with bags, general litter and tyres. Looks like most of the Pay and Display ticket machines have been smashed open. Past another dozen or so on the A38 heading into Mansfield

Also saw a group of teenage girls walking from the site into Town, what a sight :eek: the shortest of skirts, boots, crop tops, hats etc. Would fancy dealing with their brothers though. ;)

I think large groups of pikeys are scummey...but i have to say there are a small minority of sole-travellers which cause no-harm.....

The only good Pikey is a very DEAD pikey!

It is very easy to be critical of travellers. We should be careful not to stereotype them all as unwashed thieving lowlifes.
Instead, we should learn to accept them as they are, and encourage them to settle into static sites.
Then use napalm.

Travelling is a way of life rather than a race or religion.


Is poking fun at 'Pikeys' and 'Gypos' any worse than the Chav threads we have had recently, after all they are only mobile Chavs by the sound of it, Like Pigeons are 'Rats with wings'.

Cant say I appreciate the references to mr Hitlers methods though, there are some things that should never really be made light of, the Holocaust being one of them.
