Thinking of P/Xing my MY00 UK Turbo for an MY04 WRX, so this is particularly relevant to me.

Question for everyone: The announcement states:

"The three years’ free servicing covers the first three major services meaning all items listed in the Subaru Owner’s Service and Warranty booklet are free of charge - including labour."

Which are the three major services then? The services in the MY00 service book are (excluding the 1K run-in):

7500 or 6 mths
15000 or 12 mths
22500 or 18 mths
30000 or 24 mths
37500 or 30 mths
45000 or 36 mths
52500 or 42 mths

Anyone?

Basically, once I know, I can go back over my old invoices and get a guesstimate of how much cheaper the new car will be on servicing.

All WRX's since MY02 have 10,000 mile service intervals. First one at 10,000 was £120. Next came the 20,000 at £149. I am told the biggest is the 30,000 or 3 years which will be £500 :( Add it all up and you get £769. So that works out at £21 a month. Sounds like a fair deal to me :)

Thanks bluto22b - amazing what you learn on here.

Free Servicing

We got the Free Servicing deal but there was no mention of 0%. We did get the finance at 7.7% from IM/Capital Bank which we were pretty pleased with.

Does anyone no if the 1,000 mile service is charged for or is it a freebie?

Glenn_R 11 April 2004 09:18 PM

I'm sure the 1K service would be included as well as they only used to charge for the oil anyway.

Its funny the STi isn't included in the free service deal as they have the same intervals and costs as the WRX. Maybe they don't need to shift as many:rolleyes:
