wtf is up with my hks!
 

still having problems with the hks dump valve, every time it goes off it sounds like some one breathing with ashma in a high pitch way? its also VERY quiet as a m8 who has a forge blow off was louder than mine. i double checked the fittings and its all correct. anyone got any ideas?

How far is the adjuster hut nut at the back screwed out/in? When I fitted mine it didn't work at all, but on adjusting the nut with two spanners it's fine.

i have tried adjusting the nut to all the settings and nothing :( it sounds like sh*te) atm

Mine sits about 4mm out. Is the body loose? To tighten it, use allen key on the mounting bolts on the front, or try twisting it on the base to see if thats the problem mate??

ive tried all that? is there anyone here with a hks d/v near northampton? could do with trying mine on another car to see if its buggered.

if the performance is not worse theres no need to panic .sounds a bit like mine,
if you where waiting for that wooosh sound you have the wrong valve hks ss dont do that its more hi pitched.

no this sounds sh*te its really a bad sound. my forge blow off sounded decent. i need someone who has a hks d/v to here theres in person and test mine on theirs. anyone based in midland have one? pm me!
