ebay used to offer this service but i think its been removed now,
I think you can set emails in the "my ebay settings" to be sent when bids are made.
if its to a hotmail account then you can set sms notification of new mails

Hmmm cant seem to find any option for bid alerts on my own auctions, any other ideas?

There are no alerts for each bid made on your goods - think how many emails per day this would generate!

Try http://www.smsbid.co.uk/ebay/login.aspI used it and it works fine. 25p per txt tho, so thought it was a bit too expensive after a while. You can bid by txt as well.

Sorry, do not think it lets you know when someone has bid, but does let you know when you auction ends and how it ended.
