Witnesses urgently required.....

A few days ago a Skyline was run off the A127 by a Fiesta that subsequently drove off leaving the scene of the accident...

http://skylineowners.com/forums/show...&threadid=6671

If anyone knows anything, saw anything or knows of a Fiesta with significant damage please contact the owner of the Skyline via above website...the driver of the Liner walked away...only just...the thread shows level of damage done to the Skyline so the Fiesta would have severe damage too...

Hit and run accidents are on the increase....time to stop them happening...

Disgraceful. Have they managed to get any paint samples off the Skyline? It may not help catch the fiesta driver but at least it will help to confirm the chain of events to the old bill.

I am so relieved that the guy got out the car in one piece (and even managed to post about it).

Its frustrating that there are so many fiesta's in that area (bl***y fords factory)

Lets spread the word and hope the idiot gets caught.

Whichever Fiesta it was, will have considerable damage and quite a bit of black paint on it too...its either been dumped or its in a bodyshop somewhere...

Which is why the thread is being put on as many sites as possible, the more who see the original posting, the more chance there might be of catching up with the bar stewards...

Just an idea, but it may be worth sitting in a layby on this road for a day or two at the same time of day. The fiesta might travel the same road, same time, every day.. just a thought, but it's something I would do.

Typical  this happens too much these days :( That car is a total mess now. I hope fir their sake the fiesta turns up.

Vette_76 08 April 2004 10:14 AM

Absolutely disgraceful!!

I can't even begin to imagine how anyone could drive away from an accident - knowing the other person might be injured and need help!!

Unfortunately the Fiesta will probably be a burnt out carcass by now!!

Paulo P 08 April 2004 10:35 AM

Aren't there cctv cameras along that road?
