Tesco online insurance. "NOT another tesco question"
 

Well it is but I need replies quick

Iv just done a insurance quote with Tesco online and by phone.
Online im getting £1200 and £350 excess.
phone im getting £1500 and £500 excess.

But the problem with the online quote it does not allow for mods and the car I will me buying will come with 325mm 4 pot Brembo conversion.
The lady on the phone dont me there will be no difference if the brakes was standard any ideas?

Think you get 5or10% discount online dont you?
Just do it online and then phone them up and declare your mods.

Tesco don't seem to be very mod friendly unfortunately. My online quote was £577 so i phoned to ask whether a s/steel exhaust would affect premium if i fitted one later..... it would, by £130. WTF?

Have you tried elephant.co.uk? they were pretty competative for me and had a page for mods!
