Scooby Monitor
 
Im trying to get the parts to build a Scooby Monitor

But cant seem to find these 3 parts
PCB/ Dontronics Dt107 (cant find anywhere in uk)
Controller/ Atmel ATmega8 (discontinued at farnell)Part no/ ATmega8-16-PC
LCD 2x16 LCD (discontinued at maplins)Part no/ RM88V

Someone must have built one of these recently any help would be great

I've mailed AndrewC waiting for reply just seeing if anyone else knows a good
supplier for parts. But i wait for AndrewC reply as he is the guru on these

Andrew should be able to help you out with a DT107. If he's out of them, it's simple enough to make the circuit up on a piece of stripboard.

You can still get the Atmel MEGA8-16PI from Farnell. SKU is 3917927

Pretty much any controllered 16 x 2 matrix LCD will do the job. Farnell do a wide range, as do RS.
