Hmm

They have done alot of work on my friends Escort Turbo which they are very impressed with but on another note don't leave your car their overnight because a guy I know had to keep his in overnight as they didn't get the work finished and his car past him at night on Union Street...........they decided to take it for a drive as they had just finished the work on it at midnight................Yeah right

Yeah I`m looking at getting some work done their myself and would appreciate peoples view on their problem/diagnostic skills on a scooby.

Cheers.

I have called them on a few occasions and also visited the shop to enquire about getting work done on my car and they have said they would get back to me with a price. I have never recieved a price form them with regards any of the work i was wanting done, not a good start!
I cannot however voice an opinon on their standard of work as i have never had any work carried out by them.

Still waiting for a recipt from the guy for an exhaust I bought about a year ago. Its "in the post" apparently.

Also emailed them a few weeks back about a new suspension kit which ive never had a reply to.

Gav's a good guy though, I took him down to a RR last year, picked him up at his house and he was very appreciative. Even bought breaky.

A quick comment on this thread. I`ve send Wallaceperformance a few e-mails and have received very favourable responses from Gavin. He`s even open on a local holiday!!! and offered to do some diagnostic work on my car then. He also provided an "excellent" deal should he be unable to find what the problem is with my RB5.
The car is due to go in this monday so fingers crosses we can resolve the problem with the car.

See you on Monday Gavin.

Cheers,

Chris.

I cannot rate Gavins mapping skills with the Ecutek highly enough. Still lacks some of the more technical knowledge about the cars (mechanical areas) but BOY, this hexidecimal hero (sorry GAV!) knows his stuff about mapping ECUs!

He is a perfectionist as I am testament to ( working until 0100 on Wed morning, 4th gear power runs in MY99 UK turbo and hit limiter - you guess the rest:D:D:D)

Car pulls like a steam train, 3rd feels like 2nd, 4th feels like 3rd, etc :D Muchos happiness for the owner!

Russell (see you in the morning with the spare ECU Gav!)
