18's on classics

hi guys..bit of info please if poss :)

offset for classic thats ideal...52 i'm told by a pal...correct i assume?

18' rims i like.....go for 7.5 inch wide or 8inch

and whats your theorys on tyre size?

215/35/18's?...these ok with 7.5 width..or what do u suggest..

currently on wrx02 alloys with 215/45/17's

any info/help very much appreciated...

cheers, chris :)

If you can get 7.5 s all well and good. 8" will stretch the tyre wall giving less flex in bends causing skittishness.

I have 18" wheels on my classic. My offset is 50 and my wheels are 18 x 8J. Tyres are 225/40 x 18.
The only problem I had was my very tired old suspension. It caused a slight rubbing at one of the rear arches during heavy bumps or high speed right turns. It's now been sorted with a set of coilover suspenders.
