Scoobybits 29 March 2004 08:53 PM

BOLIOIKS..MISSED IT..ANY GOOD?

greasemonkey 29 March 2004 08:55 PM

Ah, it's like Top Gear, but on Channel 5. Neat...

Harry_Boy 29 March 2004 09:13 PM

Don't remember Plato being on the last series...
And what's VB-H doing on Canal 5 as well as ITV's new Sunday Speed thingy?

greasemonkey 29 March 2004 09:24 PM

Is there a rule that says she can't be on both? Noticed her doing a few advert voiceovers lately as well. At least it keeps her off the street... ;)

<serious mode> I suspect the reason why there's cross-fertilisation between Fifth Gear and Speed Sunday is that they're both made by the same production company, North One TV. </serious mode>

Harry_Boy 29 March 2004 09:25 PM

No rule GM. ;)

Just pleased she's got a fairly open contract with both. Met her a couple of times, and she's a grand lass! :D:D:D

PS. Just spotted your additional Prod Co comment. Fair point....

john_s 29 March 2004 09:45 PM

Rats! missed it.

John.

Dream Weaver 29 March 2004 09:47 PM

Doh!!

scoobyverysoon 29 March 2004 10:02 PM

doh missed it also

does it get repeated????

regards

Jud

greasemonkey 29 March 2004 10:08 PM

It seems to be repeated tomorrow at 7:30pm. It's also on twice a day on the Discovery Channel, but it doesn't say whether this is the new series or repeats of old ones.

scoobyverysoon 29 March 2004 10:14 PM

great stuff

thanks

Jud

Hammoc 29 March 2004 10:18 PM

B*gger missed. Lucky they now repeat it. Don't want to miss my VB-H fix. :)

GotRice? 29 March 2004 10:34 PM

Only saw the second half missed the 612 :(

r32 30 March 2004 06:03 AM

Really interesting about the two Espaces, cant beleive how much safer the new one was. It just goes to show, dont let you family drive around in an old car, they deserve better ...........
STEVE..................

speedking 30 March 2004 08:01 AM

Yes but put an Espace up against a new Yaris, also listed as a v. safe Euro ncap 4* rating, and the Espace would make mincemeat of it. 2 tons of car is going to make a mess of anything it hits at a closing speed of 70mph.

The fact that the 8 airbags didn't trigger in the Espace will be saving the insurance company a fortune in re-setting costs;)

Nicci 30 March 2004 10:25 AM

I missed the show :( (I forgot)

Instead I had some kind of mental moment. I was watching Groundforce while sewing.

I need help.

coulty 30 March 2004 10:28 AM

Obviously if you were sewing something like scooby seat covers that would be ok  lol

madmoog 30 March 2004 12:38 PM

VBH please :)

IN THE STICKS 30 March 2004 01:17 PM

Try 7.30 tonight , looks like it's repeated :D

PG 30 March 2004 06:30 PM

on now

Gidney&Knowlesy 30 March 2004 07:57 PM

Plato certainly threw the 612 around..........sounded awesome, frontal view looks almost like a Porsche (oh no what am I saying)

greasemonkey 30 March 2004 08:08 PM

There's even a hit of the "new" signature Subaru headlights in it...

...and I still haven't decided whether that's a compliment or not?!

john_s 30 March 2004 08:41 PM

Rats! Missed it again!

John.
