I am going to veiw this scooby in the next couple of days, I would be interested to get your veiws on it and to see if it is worth the money, thanks for your future advice

Sonic blue, Saloon, 20,000 miles . f.s.h, thousands spent on the following: Ecuteck two stage control 280BHP, prodrive exahust, quick shift, STi bonnet vent, colour coded sills, WRC rear spoiler, new 18" alloys with new tyres, WRC headlmp conversion, Cat 1 alarm, tracker, eiback progressive springs, racetech boost gauge, over £8,000 spent, cd player, a/c, concours condition stunning car £14,995.

If it's running 280bhp it has probably had a full or partial decat (at least down/up pipe). Certainly not a bad thing though. It's got all the mods that you need for a bugeye and it's low mileage.

It's similar spec to mine and if I could get 15K for it I'd probably sell it now so you might want to haggle a bit on the price.

yea the dealer said it had been de-cat

Any1 else got any veiws....I have already pulled out of 1 deal on the advice of scoobynet members and I dont want to make the same mistake again

I've got a MY02 bugeye running about 300 BHP.... and if it landed on my local scooby dealer forecourt I think it would be recognised :)

Maybe someone knows the car in question ?

the dealer said the previous owner was in a scooby club so it was well looked after but part ex for a M5 :)

will it pass the mot which is due very soon

I was looking around for a few weeks for my car recently.

From what I have seen 51 plate cars tend to sell from about 12k upwards.

From what you say about the car I think the price is not that far off for dealer price, but I would not say its cheap. As a private sale I would expect maybe 13k for it and on a forecourt maybe 14k.

Only from what I have seen over the last few weeks.

I just paid 15995 for a late 03 WRX from my local dealer (8000 miles, standard car, showroom condition) so for an extra £1k you could get nearly new - but that might not be what you are after.

It's not an MY02 because it has the A-pillar aerial. MY02 has aerial in rear window and illuminated ignition key slot. It can't be sonic blue (unless re-sprayed:D) so is WR blue. Is it a euro import or UK car?

I would say slightly over priced for a euro import, but reasonable for a UK. If it was first registered in 02 then MOT not due for nearly a year, and likewise a years warranty remaining to sort out any problems.
