Yep!! thats all i can say, having just replaced my 16"s with pd7's 17"s and putting SO-2's on them, WOW!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif the car feels more smoother and definately more grip in the wet, ok she still slides a bit but she is alot more controlable http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif definately worth the investment IMHO.
running 30psi all round at the moment, dont know what i should be running them at so if anyone has these on 17"s give us a clue!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Tony,

Try 32/33 front, 30 rear.

These tyres take around 1,000 miles to bed in, i'm told. I've just changed from Yoko A520's and like you have found them to be excellent in the wet. Can't comment about dry grip, as we haven't had any dry weather to try them yet !!

I can only speak as I find. The so2's have been on now for about 300 miles and are still squirming around at or near the limit of grip where the Yokos I took off were more predictable if less grip. From various posts on this board, i'm confident things will improve.

Gary, perhaps you're not pushing then enough ?

1000 mile runing in is crap (IMO). Mine were bedded in after 50 or 60 (dry) miles and got to full grip after 100 or so.

Tyre pressures, I run 17" S02s at 36 front 34 rear. Having tried various levels, this gives best balance between wet grip, dry grip and ride.

Believe me I'm pushing - maybe you're not pushing hard enough, and it's taking you 100's of miles to get the wear I get in 50-100 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
