Anybody running the 304mm AP four pot setup?

My oem brake setup while upgraded (pads/lines/two piece rotors) still gets a little over taxed at the track. I need a kit that will clear 16" and 15" wheels- so any of the bigger kits are not an option.

Would like to hear from anyone using (or has used) this (or a similar kit?) kit.

Thanks

Big Sky

I recently upgraded to the 304mm AP 4 pot setup as the standard brakes had no urgency and wanted to keep her on 16's (handles better IMHO).Am using Ferodo DS2500 pads. The whole setup is now confidence inspiring in road use (haven't been on track).
Caliper to wheel clearance is in the region of a gnat's todger on std wheels.

Yup!

304 4pots running DS2500s.

They need a warm up stop early mornings before they feel right but even cold, they still stop.

ISTR MY99, MY00 5 spokes/6 spokes will fit. AP website gives typical examples of wheels for the quoted cars. I don't think 15s will fit at all.

Good to hear! I also run the DS2500 pads- great pads.

I'll have to print out their caliper guide and check fitment for 15" wheels, for some reason I was under the impression that some of the rally guys were using this setup.

I missed out on picking up a used setup for a really good price, they don't exactly give away this kit;).
