As above will this cause any damage?

No one tried this then? Just brought a hand held jobby for £20.00 says on box can be used to clean alloys but I dont wanna cause any damage to them.

Now then!!

I used a pressure washer, no steam, to wash the car down and it removed the laquer from the rear bumper. Now, this is down to crap workmanship when the bumper was painted, but it is clear that if there is any reason that the paint/powder isnt bonded correctly then this could happen to yours.

Whats wrong with cleaning your wheels with a wheel cleaner and then using maybe tcut or a tar remover for the hard to remove bits? Using a good polish to protect also helps.

Ooops? Just realised, you have a new toy and want to play so do a neighbours car to test it, just make sure they are out!!

New toy brought the kitchen tiles up lovely. Lets see what it can do with the neighbours alloys just so happens they are on holiday!

Wouldn`t of thought you could of done any damage with a hand held one. After all its only hot water, Plenty of people use wheel cleaning fluids and some of them are full of all sorts of crap like acid.
