hi

does anyone have those ? i have been charged £99 for rear pads on a MY99 1155 material ?

the pads seem to different on my cars than most the MY99 seen by tyre northhampton at brands. they are the same size but have different lugs. one central lug instead the normal two. i hope i making sense. any one experienced this before ?
the car is a MY99 EU import. i have been told that for MY99 and MY00 there is two types of rear pads going around

cheers

sam

anyone ?

Hi Sam
I brought them for my Lagacy Turbo (very similar I'm told) for about £35ish from Unipart. I managed to get trade prices by ringing up and asking for his best price. It shows what profit some suppliers will try and make!
Cheers Alex

i needed the pads at the time.

they were fitted before i was told about the price http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif. i would not mind paying the money if this was the standard price for the mintex rear pads. however no body likes to feel like a mug

Sound sexpensive I paid approx £90 for front pads for my99 from Scoobymania. Rear DS 2000 are only £100!

hope this helps

Mintex 1155, 99 notes, Ferrodo DS2000, 100 notes, why does that make the Mintex look expensive then Julian?, sounds quite fair?

Just a quick one , I got a set of front C Tech Mintex pads for my my98 @ about £65.00 + vat from a local company if you are still looking e-mail me back and I can sort out the name and no:

Arron.

Sam Elassar 08 November 2000 11:09 PM

thanks Arron

i have got AP's at the front.

to clarify few things there is two types of rear brake discs that came with the late MY99 and probably the MY2000 ( maybe ) and they different in shape. they have on lug instead of two. the older version is cheaper i know that however at the dealer i got them for £15-20 can not remember exactly. so for me to bay £99+ vat for them i thought was odd. that is why i asked if anyone came across some expensive rear pads before from mintex ?

sam
