Does anyone have experience of these tyres. I have been told they are all good grippy brands with a firm sidewall so should be suited to the Impreza! Mid-cost range http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Hi Mick,
Recently bought a MY98 Terzo fitted with ZZ1s. Gonna change them straight away though. They cause too much understeer and grip in the wet is s**t! If you do a search on this BBS on them I don't think you'll find one good comment. Seems that SO2s are the most widely recommended. Cheers Bas |
My STi came fitted with Nankangs by the importer. Rock solid they may be, but I think it will take 30,000 miles to wear them down. So far I have invoked the ABS twice (in the dry) and I don't exactly drive like a loon.
So, they are coming off as soon as poss, as I intend to enjoy the scoob to its full potential with a nice set of Toyo's. You are most welcome to make an offer for a set of 4 Nankangs though, to save them gathering dust in the garage! dela |
Thanks for the advice. I am now the proud owner of brand spanking set of Goodyear Eagle F1s. I nearly paid £119 each but the guy didn't have them in stock. Ended up getting all 4 for just under £320 all-in http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif - 'Imagine my Surprise!'
