URGENT HELP NEEDED!
Hi,
12 months ago I replaced my standard head light bulbs with 100w bulbs. Last week one of my headlights went out, after closer inspection i could see that the black plastic connector that push's onto the bulb had completly melted. Clearly this has been caused by the additional current going through the terminals. What are my options as I currently have only one headlight? Cheers. PS Before you all say it, I know I should not have done it in the first place!!!!!!!. |
Is it an H4? (Classic car)
If so, the connectors are available from Vehicle Wiring Products. http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.c...page/home.html You'll probably have to cut and scrape the old one off, take out the terminals, and replace them in the new plastic bit. Then check fuses, and replace your 100W bulbs with Philips Vision Plus, or GE Megalights. Alcazar |
