Fantastic:) One for Novachavs everywhere:D

Scooby-Doo 23 March 2004 01:01 PM

This is in the same bracket as a flammer kit :)

OllyK 23 March 2004 01:12 PM

Ohhhh I'll have 2 please!

I prefer stealth, can you keep the grunt of the Scoob but make it sound like a milk float? :D

yoza 23 March 2004 01:39 PM

Will it fit on my Honda Melody ?

Other mods include....Front and rear basket, tiger skin seat cover, handlebar tassles, peg and card spoke clipper, and de-restricted by PowerStationMopeds giving a certified 8 BHP.

Oh, and its Evo yellow aswell.

Works with manual or automatic transmissions.
That's lucky then.

UB:rolleyes:

Love it! I was thinking of getting one of those for the hearse :D lol

I like this bit....... "This is the same device used by big movie companies when they want a normally aspirated car to sound heavily turbo-charged (you really think they are going to spend all that extra time and money turbocharging every car on the set)?! When a movie is made, there are at least 10-20 replicas of the same car, this would cost a big part of their budget (apprx.£35,000£50,000)so they use turbo whistlers for back-up cars and get the same turbo spool sound for action packed scenes." and I thought they would use the mulit million pound sound department

What utter pants

dont agree that its in the same bracket as the flamer kit tho, a small pop of fire at the right time can look good, as long as its not overdone like a deleted scene from 'backdraft'

RichWalk 23 March 2004 02:51 PM

"available in Burberry colours for the more decerning p*ats" Lovely addition to anyones pride & joy.....

Terzo228 23 March 2004 02:56 PM

ended at £35.00 !!!! WTF !

Scooby-Doo 23 March 2004 04:04 PM

Paul have to agree that my flamer comment is incorrect.

A flamer kit provides no benefit to the car or the driver, the only point of installing a flamer is to impress people outside the car with a visual show.

This fake turbo provides no benefit to the car or the driver, the only point of installing a fake turbo is to impress people inside and outside the car with an audio show.

Therefore based on the above I conclude the fake turbo is actually more beneficial than the flamer kit and also not illegal.

Please feel free to correct any points above.

Ahh but a picture is worth a thousand words, so surely a visual effect ranks higher than audible one? :D

f1 25 March 2004 02:23 PM

does anyone know, would this work WITH a flamer kit fitted as well ?

:D :D :D :D :D

EddScott 25 March 2004 02:53 PM

Don't know if anyone has seen them but you can buy a sound box and a switch which works off the gas pedal so when you lift off it activates the sound box and plays a recorded dump valve noise.
