Netsky virus
 

Hi,
My old pc died and i have just built a new un,since getting back on the net after 3 weks off and actually having some av now installed i am getting about 2 virus attactments a day,where the hell do these get my mail add from and how can i stop this happening.

I think you'll find the addresses are harvested from infected machines with your address in their email address books. Hence you might want to have a word with any friends who use email to contact you.

Netsky harvests email addresses from a multitude of places, you'd have to contact everyone who may have visited a website where you left your email address as well, plus a good few others.
