During a recent airfield day, after my 2nd session on track I noticed a vibration through the steering wheel under medium-hard braking. Since then, this has continued and is still happening.

When checking the brakes between sessions at the track day, I noticed that both Brembo front disks had several cracks running from the centre of the wheel to 1/4 to 1/2 way across the disks.

My question is whether this is the reason for the vibration, or could there be more to it ? Braking performance seemed fine throughout the track day, and even now seems just as strong, but the vibration remains.

Any ideas ? I want to get Scoobysport to look at the disk cracks, but would appreciate any advice beforehand.

Cheers
Colin

I have exactly the same problem, brake performance is still 100% but the vibration is shocking.

Pete Croney is sending me out some modified fixing bolts soon which he says should cure it, I think they may already be damaged though.

Need to get them fixed for Cadwell next week.
