My first service for the Subaru

Had my Impreza since October and it had just had its 45K service. Shes booked in with Keith Price week tomorrow for the 52.5K service. Was recommended to go there rather than CVC Subaru in Cardiff. Its a bit of trek for me from Haverfordwest but as my car is quite new and has full subaru history I feel I should keep it dealer just in case the unlikly even of me selling up.

Is my recommendation sound? only ask becuase a few SN people have had issues with thier cars just after a service.

Also, I find that my brakes need a quick dab before feeling "right" and also first thing in the a.m. I have to pump the clutch a couple of times to get in reverse cleanly. I guess these just need topping up/re-filling - will they do this on the 52.5K service or should I ask them too as I don't really know what involved. Also any ideas what oil they will put in? bit worried as I haven't changed it since having it so its been in there 6 months now.

TIA

Just dont let the idiots touch your clutch. I did and had to have my gearbox taken out to put it right.

Also had to threaten legal action to get my money back that they had taken.

Never again.

Each to their own.

In my experience CVC are far better than Keith Price.

i've never had any problems with CVC, 30k service or warranty work, always ready on time, it's the luck of the draw sometimes, depends if you catch them on a bad day like anything else!

Well, had my service today and am very happy with Keith Price. Didn't take too long and supplied free coffee and reading material and a 22B to drool over :)

Only downsides (nothing to do with KP) were asking them to check why my car makes a clicking noise in reverse and their guess is a tooth missing off one of the reverse gears - Mega bill apparently - nice.

And when coming to pay finding out my card had been stopped by the company - nice.

Cheered myself up and bought a fancy Subaru watch :)
