FMIC/INSURANCE
hi
i am wanting a front mount intercooler on my scoob and was wondering how this would affect my insurance. im 29, 3 years ncd. can anybody who has fitted a fmic tell me how hard/easy it was to find a insurance company to insure you and how much extra it cost?. thanks in advance for any info. scott |
Liverpool & Victoria is very 'mod-friendly'. As long as you don't change the cylinder capacity, you can change pretty much anything else without incurring a higher premium.

Well I am 29 and have a fmic, try Greenlight they will insure it no probs.
When I tried to get a quote from Liv & Vic they told me that they dont insure modified cars and wouldnt touch my car. |
I moved from Greenlight to L&V just before Christmas because they more than doubled my premium (no claims, no incidents whatsoever).

I'm under 30 and L&V had no problems taking my car on, despite all the mods (fully declared).
