Help with prosecution form please.
 

A freind of mine has received a police request to provide information about who was driving his car when a mobile trap detected a speeding violation.

I think I read on scoobynet that although the form must be filled in, there is no requirement in law to sign the form, and that no prosecution can be made unless the form is signed.

Is this really a loophole that works? Can anyone direct me to the thread that discusssed this?

Don't do anything till tomorrow. Apparerntly theres a judgment due which could throw the whole thing wide open.

I went through the same process last year with no success. Try looking at http://www.safespeed.org.uk/unsigned.html there's lots of info about the unsigned forms.
Also there is a yahoo unsigned forum which is pretty usefull. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/unsigned_forms/
