I've got a Dell 17" flat screen - I wouldn't consider any smaller than a 17" flat screen; or did you mean overall size when compared to a CRT?

I've no idea what the specs are, but it is analogue. Quality is great for general Windows use. I also played Max Payne 2 and some of the other 1st person shooters - Medal of Honour, Castle Wolfenstein, etc.. and haven't noticed any delay issues.

I suppose the hard-nosed gamers will quote some refresh rate as being a must, but don't waste extra money if your not going to notice the difference.

£165 is bl00dy cheap :)

However, it is 110v AC. Wouldn't you need to get a transformer?
Also, this whole thing about a gift. Does it actually work?

Dan :)

Check their shipping policies first - http://www.merconnet.com/shipping.ph...b7df8f55a149cc

Try asking any legitimate business to ship stuff as "gifts" to avoid paying country import duties and they'll get very nervous.

The UK know about this and will simply send you a tax bill for the import duty. It's then up to you to fight the charge and prove it was a personal gift.

Seems a bit of a lottery to me.

Jamo,

I know many people who've been promised that and hit with a nice Tax bill (not that company in particular mind you).

Are you willing to cover the tax bill for him if it doesn't work? ;)
