I had no idea he had fallen on such hard times. In my youth he was a *giant* star, with his massive hit records 'n all. I hope he still gets royalties for those at least. He gets sod all from the original Starsky and Hutch, or the new movie.

i heard he sold his rights to starsky and hutch for £50k. then the year after they became a cult icon:) and he lostt out on millions

still he can always go back to his singing career:eek: hehehee

Yeah - I was a Starsky and Hutch boy when I was younger - even got my hair permed to look like Starsky.

Never knew some of the past of David though - specifically, the masked singer and 'Andy Warhol' era shall we say. Loved his comments on AW:D

I hope the guy comes up trumps again - I would buy his album today like I did back in 77, for ole time sake;)

I am a bit young to appreciate starsky and hutch but it is always sad to see a legend fall on hard times.

Is the movie out yet and is it worthseeing?

My only thought is, are my best (financial) times less than his worst?

yep quite shocking and brave of him to dwell on his era when he was selling body, I was a big fan of Starsky and Hutch, which reminds me, did anyone get shafted by those co*k suckers the news of the world yesterday? Only bought it because of the free DVD, turns out its a voucher you have to redeem at blockbuster, when I get there they have none left, w4nkers!!!
