My standard disks (MY99) have developed small cracks. Dealer has offered to 'Warranty claim' them and replace with standard disks FOC.

However am tempted to upgrade, but what to? Black Diamond? any other suggestions?

(I have already upgraded pads to 1155s)

Gary,

You could always try GroupN discs from ScoobySport. As these are supposed to be better that the OE discs. Then again you could save yourself the money and get your dealer to fit you a new set of OE discs FOC.

I have the Black diamond discs on the car for 2 weeks now, under normal circumstances not much different feel from standard, now for 3 days in combination with Pagid Blue, a lot better (more friction) than standard.
Will be at the racetrack in one week to put this combination to the test let's see if there is fading (THE big problem with the standard braking stuff).

I had the same problem and my dealer said it was a waste of time fitting std disks as the same would thing would happen again. He said the pads were to hard for the disks. My dealer got group N disks and Goodridge hoses from Scoobysport and fitted this with new 1155's under warrantee. The cost to me was £60 for the hoses.
Group N disks are half the price of STD disks.
