My alloys are the silver 16" currently fitted to newer scoobies. However the previous owner who had them fitted has had them powder coated in a sort of yellow/gold colour. I don't think this is standard subaru colour as it is different to the colour of the alloys of a 96 Catalunya I viewed 2 weeks ago.

Assuming the above is correct I now need some advice on how to repair. Damage is limited to outer rim but has scraped off plastic type coating about one third circumference and removed a small (1mm deep) amount of the rim.

Ideally I need the contact details of a good refurbisher who will be able to repair and match the colour without losing the wheel for too long as I only have the dodgy spare.

Any comments, help would be much appreciated.

Stockton's local for me so I'll give them a try on Monday morning.

Did they do a good job? How Much for your refinishing or is that too cheeky?

Yes did a superb job, ran them for about 3000 miles after getting them done, then bought some OZ ST Evos in the summer, put the original wheels back on over winter polished them up today and they are like new, cost approx £120 for all 4 (I think)

I've realised it was a pretty stupid question as people don't recommend suppliers who do a bad job

Mill

Used Romax a few years ago to refurb some 205GTI alloys. Did a great job at a good price. Still use them to refurb the odd damaged wheels at work.
