Was in the area yesterday and the local evening paper had a supplement about the Festival of Speed. Apparently the World Rally Cars..Subaru, Ford, Peugeot and Skoda are being forced to use gravel tyres on the tarmac hillclimb not slicks so that they slide more......should be interesting.

I'm going on Sunday.

I can't remember whats happening on the Friday, but the F1 cars practise on Sat 24th June and make 2 timed runs on Sunday 25th June.

Ticket prices are:
Sat £16 in advance or £24 on the gate
Sun £27 in advance not sold at gate

You have full access to the paddock (pits) and can view from anywhere by the side of the track (behind straw bales). Grandstand tickets are extra.

I couldn't find much useful info on the Goodwood website. What day(s) would I see the rally and F1 cars going full tilt down that bloke's driveway?

Can I just turn up on the Saturday or Sunday and expect to get in and see anything or must I get a ticket in advance?

Cheers,
Paul.
