Tyres for MY04 STI

Are the ones that get syupplied with the car really that crap, I have heard lots of complaints about them.

I'm in the process of getting MY04 STI with PPP and I'm wondering if I should have different tyres with them.

And experience?

I have had Toyo T1 Proxes on all my Impreza's

I am currently running Avon ZZ3's which are just as good

There are of course Eagle F1's, SO3's and More

ALL ARE FAR BETTER THAN THE OEM IMHO

An upgrade in wheels may be called for as the 18's are going to give you a better compromise in tyre choices ;)
Your best to look at the following tyres though:-

Toyo Proxy
Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3

I thought my standards were ok too apart from the odd bit of tramlining.

But, when they needed replacing I changed to F1 GSD3's and then realised how bad the originals actually were.

Just coming up to 15,000 miles on my Bridgestones and that included Rally day and a few laps of the Nurburgring. They need changing now but I thought that was pretty good going
