Brake Disc and Pads Where To Buy?

Hi guys, I am looking for a bit of advice as to where I can buy new front discs and pads for MY99 classic. My local dealer has quoted £130 for the discs and £120 for the pads plus fitting. I also need rear dampers and he has quoted £250 for the pair plus fitting.

Can anyone recommend any online sites which would give me a better offer??

Cheers Brocks

For brakes try http://www.camskill.co.uk. They are pretty cheap and the discs are good quality. I have their cross drilled ones on the front of mine and will shortly be getting the rears. They have a good selection of pads too, but don't let them fob you off with Greenstuff.

Brocks, you can get (better than) OE spec discs from www.sapmotorparts.com for around £90 a pair (they're £35.19 +VAT and postage each).

As for pads, if all you want is an OE spec pad, you'd be far better off with a warm road compound like Mintex 1144 from Alyn at www.asperformance.com.
