Try DIY stores..........the stuff in the photo looks rather like the rigid square mesh you can get to make a rabbit hutch etc. It'd need welding a thick bit along the bottom/top edges etc, perhaps, and could be fastened together with zip ties, and would then need spraying.........even so it would be rusty in no time at all, unless you can find stainless?

hmmm.....something to be going along with, can't imagine some one from Prodrive going in to B&Q to make the front grill of a WRC car ;):D

You can get it in stainless steel, try a local stainless fabricators, they will even cut to size/shape for you.

I was after some stainless steel mesh for my cars, and the cheapest I found was around £50 for a piece about 12"x48" if I remember correctly, that was from Europa, they advertise a lot in the kit car magazines, in the end, i used square chicken wire mouded to fit the nose cone of my roadster and sprayed it satin black, with a little bit of time spent, a good finish can easily be got, as for my old mondeo, I used gold anodised expanded aluminium from B&Q, again, it took a good few hours to make it look like a factory finish, but the results were worth it
