Only that you have fallen in love with a piece of metal.......you may need some counselling. ;)

Not likely WD40/Duck Oil the bolts/nuts prior to removing, get new gaskets, couple of spare nuts/bolts (just incase) make sure you tighten everything up after fitting & voila...

gaskets ops the bloke i spoke to at tsl said i could use ones on car. i seem to remeber something about carbon fibre gasket, perhaps i am wrong, got the bolts though

Top gasket from turbo to downpipe is always worth replacing, you can always cheat & gum it up & use the old exhaust gasket.......it depends on the job finish you want; with a new gasket you won't have any problems... Though it is only a suggestion.

The downpipe to centre won't "usually" be a problem as that could be the CF referred to.....

Yes, agreed. For the sake of a tenner it aint worth having to rip it all apart again.

This is not recommended as it's known to destroy Lambda sensors.

And beware the heat shield will need to be cut to fit the new downpipe. Do not be lazy and leave it off, as is very tempting, leaving it off is likely to result in boiled clutch fluid.

Good luck and have fun.
