Blue classic wagon towards Freckleton/Warton

I passed in a black 03 STi as you were just moving off from a lay-by on the dual carriage way this afternoon. I think that was a large intercooler I saw on the front!?

It was probably Andrew C but he doesn't play on "was it you" (unless provoked:D ).
Seeing as your in the area - why not bob along to the LADS meet in Haslinden this Sunday.
Andrew will probably be there - along with 20 or more other scoobs ;)
Details are in Trevs post in Northern.

Hey Chris... I appreciate the invitation, thankyou. Unfortunately, the reason I was out and about on this occasion, is the reason I'm not sure I'll be able to make it. I was just on my way back from Subaru in Preston having had a leaky drive shaft seal diagnosed at the back. I'm trying to drive as little as possible at the moment. I'm not really sure how quickly it's coming out when I drive!

Even more reason to come on Sunday !
One of our supplier's, (who offers LADS members a discount) will be there to give a quick talk.
Everbody hangs around in the carpark for 1/2 hour before going inside. I'm sure they will take a look for you (and be a damm site cheaper than dealers if you ask them to fix it ;) )
Also loads of fellow owners who will offer advice etc

Chris

Edited to add - Have you tried A J Whites in Blackburn ? Ex Subaru dealers that's now independant. A lot cheaper than dealers, but still have the same knowledge !

Ex_Pug 05 March 2004 11:28 AM

Well it's an 03, so it should all be free under warranty!! I did use A&J White when they still had the franchise, and in fact, I had them fit my Prodrive springs too quite recently. I'm umm-ing and err-ing about using them for key services though, just from a warranty point of view, although I'll take it there for interim oil changes every other 5000 miles.

If your using Whites you may as well join LADS.
Its only £10 a year to join, and Whites offer very good discounts to members and include a free curtosy car and free alignment checks with servicing.

As for your warrenty work - you could always try Stan Palmers. Bit of a trek to Carlisle but the Cumbrian posse rave over them.
