I recently had some MRT front and rear solid drop links fitted to my car. This is with my Prodrive suspension kit, and Prodrive geometry, and the conclusion..... WOW!!!

The car is more solid on the road, and grip through corners seem much more predictable now.

Also through some corners, where I lose my confidence and back off, I can confidently take them much faster!

It's hard to describe, but even my girlfriend who only ever sits in the passenger seat noticed the difference, even though I didn't mention the modification!

They cost AU$145 (£50+VAT+Duty) from MRT in Oz, and it feels like one of the beter value for money modifications I've carried out.

Cheers
Andy

Andy d'ont some people say that you only need to get the rears done as the fronts are already solid? Or am I talking sh1te(again)

Yup, speaking from the rear end again. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

The flimsy composite ones can be found up front as well.

Deep, Andy drives a UK scoob, I think only the STi's come with solids. But then I know people with STi's that have still uprated them.

Whoops forgot to mention my Cusco front and rear strut braces as well!! That may have helped, but according to some, that would have no impact what so ever! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

Hi Andy,

I noticed the same, fitted some STi drop links to the rear of my WRX at the weekend and I noticed the same differences!

May just be me, but it also seems to understeer a little bit less.
