Hi,

What is the best adjustable steel front strut brace for the scoob ?

And what is the difference between those with
2 bolt holes/side and units with 3 (circular)
bolt holes ?

Any advice appreciated http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Thanks
Aziz

Aziz,

Don't go for the Sparco Strut Brace with two hole attachement, this obstructs the Brake Fluid Reservoir. I have to remove mine every time I want to add some fluid.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to share your views regarding the sparco unit , I see what you mean by obstructing
the brake fluid res. However I assume that your Impreza is right hand drive snd since we drive on the other side in this little
corner of the world (L.H.D) then I sincerely hope that I will not have to take the brace every time I need to check fluid
levels .

Having used the sparco , what is your impression about it? is it effective and worth the price ?

Cheers
Aziz

Aziz I have no direct experience on them myself but a few guys with very well tuned cars seem to run Cusco braces and swear by them. One guy called Firefox had a recent post where I think he said he had tried about 5 different types inc Sparco and felt strongly that the Cusco one was the best(I hope I have not misquoted him!!)

The Cusco stuff is superb.

Unfortunately the Cusco brace won't fit a UK spec car, only Jap imports Sti's or those cars fitted with front mounted intercoolers so J (Firefox) tells me http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

Hi there,

The picture shows so seperate cusco components.

There actual strut bar is the horizontal bar. Its 40mm carbon.

I sold a few of these a while back. The picture also shows the triangulation bar (bit that bolts down onto the floor, V shape piece). This is purchased seperately. And requires the boot floor drilling.

J.

ps - Deep, you quoted me right, but I think I tried about 4 bars. I think. lol

J.

When are you going to give us the answer to the stuff that you have been working on in the last couple of weeks?

Thanx, Firefox.

So you said you sold some of them. I'm searching for Front and Rear strut bar from Cusco. It's for a 4door MY01.
Can you give me a dealer's name ?
I'm in France.
