the foresters do have a self levelling set up in the shocker and this was common on early foresters to go and leave the car lopsided the last time i changed one it was about £250 for one shocker

Old fart Ian says thank you scoobyboy. Ian has managed to source Kayaba? shocks from Dingbro, Aberdeen for £96+vat.

You wouldn't know where he can source a workshop manual would you?

Thanks again

On behalf of the old fart.

Pob,
Whats the tel. number for that company in Aberdeen?
My STB is getting on a bit and I promised it a lowering exercise along with new struts. Can't afford the pukka STi set up so I am looking at what else there is.

Nick

Nick,
the number for Dingbro in Aberdeen is 01224 682872. The part numbers for struts are 334191 and 334192. Unfortunately the company is trade supply only but I'm sure that a friendly local garage could source them from Dingbro and fit them for you.
